WWN Championship
The WWN Championship was a professional wrestling championship promoted by the WWNLive governing body. The inaugural champion was crowned on April 1, 2017, when Matt Riddle defeated five other men for the title. Like most professional wrestling championships, the title was won as a result of a scripted match. There have been six reigns shared among five wrestlers. History On November 23, 2016, WWNLive, the governing body overseeing promotions such as Evolve and Full Impact Pro (FIP), announced the creation of the WWN Championship. The champion would defend the title across all promotions under the WWNLive umbrella. Each promotion was asked to send their representative for an elimination match on April 1, 2017, at Mercury Rising 2017 to determine the inaugural champion. Keith Lee (born November 8, 1984) is an American professional wrestler currently signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW), He is also known for his time in WWE from 2018 to 2021 and Ring of Honor (ROH), as well as on the independent circuit with promotions such as Evolve, All American Wrestling, and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (where he held the PWG World Championship). Lee signed with WWE in May 2018 and was assigned to the developmental brand, NXT, where he won the NXT Championship and NXT North American Championship, and became the first person to hold both titles simultaneously. Lee began appearing on the Raw brand in August 2020, where he faced AJ Styles and Drew McIntyre in WWE Championship matches. Lee left WWE in November 2021, debuting in AEW the following February. The FIP World Heavyweight Championship is a professional wrestling world heavyweight championship owned by the Full Impact Pro (FIP) promotion. It is currently the highest ranked championship in FIP. History The title was introduced on September 25, 2004 at FIP's "Emergence: Part Two" event as the FIP Heavyweight Championship. It was renamed the FIP World Heavyweight Championship on March 3, 2007, when then-champion Roderick Strong defeated Pac in Liverpool, England at the Ring of Honor (ROH) promotion's "Fifth Year Festival: Liverpool" event. Matthew Fredrick Riddle (born January 14, 1986, in Allentown, Pennsylvania) is an American professional wrestler and former mixed martial artist. He is currently signed to WWE, where he performs on the Raw brand, but is currently inactive due to going for drug rehab. As a professional MMA fighter from 2008 to 2014, Riddle made a name for himself by appearing on SpikeTV's ''The Ultimate Fighter 7'' and went on to hold a four-fight winning streak in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) before being fired upon testing positive for smoking marijuana in February 2013.
