WWE Backstage
''WWE Backstage'' is a professional wrestling studio show that was broadcast live every Tuesday night at 11:00 PM EST on FS1. The show was hosted by Renee Paquette and Booker T. The show premiered on November 5, 2019 with special preview episodes airing on October 15, 2019 and October 25, 2019. On March 13, 2020, filming of the show was halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Because of that, the show still aired where Renee and Booker, along with the contributors and guests, discussed the entire issues of WWE from their own homes. The show is also launched the special episodes, where Renee, alongside the contributors and guests, re-watch their own favorite matches from the WWE Network archives called ''Watch With'', which aired exclusively on YouTube. On June 22, 2020, FS1 announced that the show will not be a weekly show anymore and production of the show was suspended. Professional Wrestling
Professional wrestling is a form of theater that revolves around staged wrestling matches. The mock combat is performed in a ring similar to the kind used in boxing, and the dramatic aspects of pro wrestling may be performed both in the ring or—as in televised wrestling shows—in backstage areas of the venue, in similar form to reality television. Professional wrestling as a form of theater evolved out of the widespread practice of match fixing among wrestlers in the early 20th century. Rather than sanction the wrestlers for their deceit as was done with boxers, the public instead came to see professional wrestling as a performance art rather than a sport. Ryan Satin is an American pop culture and professional wrestling journalist. He was a producer for TMZ and founded Pro Wrestling Sheet which reports on professional wrestling and mixed martial arts. He has since left the site and now works for Fox Sports. He is the son of Scott Satin, a Hollywood producer and writer.
