WTLC-FM (106.7 MHz) is an urban adult contemporary radio station licensed to Greenwood, Indiana, serving the Indianapolis metropolitan area. Alongside sister stations WTLC, WHHH, WFNI, WIBC, WLHK, WYXB, and TV station WDNI-CD, WTLC-FM is owned and operated by Radio One. All four stations and TV outlet share studios on Meridian Street in downtown Indianapolis and its transmitter tower is on the city's south side. It is home to the ''Rickey Smiley Morning Show.'' WYXB
WYXB (105.7 FM), branded as "B105.7", is a radio station owned by Urban One in Indianapolis, Indiana. The studios are located on Monument Circle in downtown Indianapolis. The transmitter and antenna, according to the FCC, are located on the eastside of Indianapolis, near 2300 N. Hawthorne. WYXB is one of two adult contemporary stations in Indianapolis; the other being WNTR, "107.9 The Mix". History A group formed WAIV, an all-classical FM station, it stayed on the air until 1967, when it ran out of advertising dollars. WTLC (1310 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station in Indianapolis, Indiana. It is owned by Urban One and broadcasts an urban gospel radio format, with some Christian talk and teaching shows heard middays and afternoons. The studios and offices are downtown at the corner of Meridian and St. Joseph Streets. By day, WTLC transmits 5,000 watts, non-directional. To avoid interference to other stations on 1310 AM frequency, it reduces power at night to 1,000 watts and switches to a directional antenna with a three-tower array that focuses the broadcast signal more to the north-northeast, west-northwest, and east-southeast. The transmitter is on the south side of Indianapolis between Troy and Sumner Avenues near the same block as television station WTTV's former studios. Rhythmic oldies is a radio format that concentrates on the rhythmic, R&B, disco, or dance genres of music. Playlists can span from the 1960s through the 2000s and, depending on market conditions, may be designed for African-American or Hispanic audiences. It is also referred to as "Jammin' Oldies" or "Music From Back in the Day" by various radio stations. WIBC (93.1 MHz) is a commercial FM radio station in Indianapolis, Indiana. It is owned by Urban One and broadcasts a news/talk format. The studios are located at 40 Monument Circle in downtown Indianapolis. The transmitter and antenna are located near South Post Road and Burk Road on the far east side of Indianapolis. The station airs mostly local conservative talk shows on weekdays, with several nationally syndicated programs, including Dana Loesch, Chad Benson, Coast to Coast AM with George Noory and on weekends Kim Komando. Greenwood is a city in Johnson County, Indiana, United States. The population was 63,830 at the 2020 Census. Greenwood is located between Indiana State Road 37 and Interstate 65. The city shares a border with Indianapolis and is the most populous suburban municipality in the southern portion of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Area.
