WRIC-TV (channel 8) is a television station licensed to Petersburg, Virginia, United States, serving the Richmond area as an affiliate of ABC. Owned by Nexstar Media Group, the station maintains studios in unincorporated Chesterfield County (with a Richmond mailing address), overlooking Powhite Parkway just south of the Midlothian Turnpike interchange. WRIC-FM is a hot adult contemporary formatted broadcast radio station licensed to Richlands, Virginia, serving the Richlands/ Grundy/Lebanon area. WRIC-FM is owned and operated by RR & WT Broadcasting, Inc. History WRIC-FM was originally on 100.7 FM, but switched frequencies with sister station WMJD in Grundy, Virginia, in 2005.
