WQTE
WQTE (95.3 FM, "Q-95 Country") is a radio station in Adrian, Michigan, broadcasting a country music format. The station is live and local during the day on weekdays, and airs a satellite format from ABC Radio called "Country Coast-to-Coast" (known on air as "Today's Best Country") the remainder of the time. The station originally signed on as WABJ-FM in 1976, nearly immediately becoming WQTE. The station's original format was beautiful music, changing to country sometime in the early 1980s. The station remains co-owned with WABJ (1490 AM) and Hudson-based WBZV (102.5 FM). For several years, WQTE has referred to itself as "Q95 Country," presumably to avoid confusion with adjacent-channel WKQI 95.5 FM in Detroit, which called itself "Q95" for many years and serves the northeastern part of WQTE's listening area. WRDT (560 AM), known on the air as "The Word AM 560, Detroit's Christian Talk", is a radio station licensed to Monroe, Michigan, serving the Detroit metropolitan area. The station broadcasts in HD Radio with 500 Watts daytime power from a transmitter located in South Monroe, Michigan, and 14 Watts nighttime power (Non-HD) from a transmitter located in Royal Oak Township, Michigan. The Royal Oak Township location shares the Greater Media tower with WCSX, WRIF & WMGC. Its low frequency and strongly directional daytime signal give the station good coverage of the Detroit market, despite the lower power. WRDT is owned by Crawford Broadcasting. Adrian, Michigan
Adrian is a city in the U.S. state of Michigan and the county seat of Lenawee County. The population was 20,645 at the 2020 census. Adrian lies in Michigan's 7th congressional district. History Adrian was founded on June 18, 1826 by Addison Comstock. The original name for the village was Logan, but was changed soon after to Adrian, perhaps in reference to the Roman emperor Hadrian. The first operating railroad in Michigan was a horse-drawn train running between Adrian and Toledo in 1836. WBZV
WBZV (102.5 FM, "Buzz 102.5") is a radio station broadcasting a classic rock format. Licensed to Hudson, Michigan, it first began broadcasting in 1995 under the WMXE call sign. Unlike its sister stations WABJ and WQTE in Adrian, Michigan, WBZV primarily targets the Hillsdale, Michigan, Hillsdale area. The 102.5 frequency has used satellite-delivered formats from Citadel Media, ABC Radio/Satellite Music Network, SMN throughout its existence. When the station signed on as WMXE "Mix 102.5," it used the adult contemporary format known as "StarStation" (now "Hits & Favorites"), and later switched to the Hot AC format known as "Today's Best Hits". Today, "Buzz 102.5" uses Westwood One, Westwood One's Classic Rock feed. Jackson, Michigan
Jackson is the only city and county seat of Jackson County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 33,534, down from 36,316 at the 2000 census. Cumulus Media Networks was an American radio network owned and operated by Cumulus Media.
