WPGA International Challenge
The WPGA International Challenge was a women's professional golf tournament on the LET Access Series, held between 2013 and 2019 in Suffolk, England. The event succeed the Challenge Tour's English Challenge, held at Stoke by Nayland Hotel, Golf & Spa in Stoke-by-Nayland 2010–2012. The 54-hole tournament, which was the only event on the LETAS schedule to be played in the United Kingdom during its run, featured an international field of 120 players. Alice Hewson made her first appearance as a professional at the 2019 event, but lost by one stroke to Manon De Roey, who became the only player to defend her title after Lydia Hall narrowly lost out in 2018. Stoke-by-Nayland
Stoke-by-Nayland is a village and civil parish in the Babergh district, in the county of Suffolk, England, close to the border with Essex. The parish includes the village of Withermarsh Green and the hamlets of Thorington Street and Scotland Street. The village has many cottages and timber-framed houses and all surround a recreation field. Possibly once the site of a monastery, the population of the civil parish at the 2001 census was 703, falling to 682 at the Census 2011. 2018 LET Access Series
The 2018 LET Access Series was a series of professional women's golf tournaments held from April through November 2018 across Europe. The LET Access Series is the second-tier women's professional golf tour in Europe and is the official developmental tour of the Ladies European Tour. The Jabra Ladies Open, held at the Evian Resort Golf Club in France and since 2014 the European qualifying competition for the Evian Championship, became the tour's first dual-ranking event with the LET. Natalia Escuriola Martinez (born 1 August 1994) is a professional golfer from Spain. She won the 2013 European Ladies' Team Championship and has played on the Ladies European Tour. Sarah Schober
Sarah Schober (born 15 April 1992) is an Austrian professional golfer and Ladies European Tour player. She was runner-up at the 2022 Big Green Egg Open and won the 2016 LETAS Order of Merit. Amateur career Schober was born in Wagna, Austria and began playing golf at the age of eight. At twelve, she joined the National Team. She appeared three times at the Espirito Santo Trophy, and multiple times at the European Ladies' Team Championship, earning a silver medal in 2013 as Austria lost the final to Spain 5 to 2. Schober finished her finals singles match against Camilla Hedberg all square.
