The station is owned by Townsquare Media and broadcasts a classic rock radio format. Its studios and offices are on Pendell Road in Poughkeepsie. WPDH has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 4,400 watts. The transmitter site is on Illinois Mountain in Highland, New York. Jeffersonville is a village in Sullivan County, New York, United States. The population was 368 at the 2020 census. The name is derived indirectly from Thomas Jefferson. The Village of Jeffersonville is in the southeastern section of the Town of Callicoon on NY 52. The postal code is 12748. The Village of Jeffersonville is home to the Sullivan West Central School elementary school. History The original settlers arrived and called the village Winkelried. The first hotel in the village was The Jefferson House, named after President Jefferson, and the village was subsequently renamed to Jeffersonville. WEOK (1390 AM) is a commercial radio station licensed to Poughkeepsie, New York and serving the Mid-Hudson Valley. The station is owned by Townsquare Media and airs a Spanish-language adult hits radio format, known as "Juan 95.7." By day, WEOK is powered at 5,000 watts. But to protect other stations on 1390 AM at night, it reduces power to 106 watts at sunset, using a directional antenna at all times. Liberty is a town in Sullivan County, New York, United States. The population was 9,885 at the 2010 census. The town contains a village also named Liberty. The village is bisected by New York State Route 52 (NY 52) and NY 55, and is crossed by NY 17. History The town of Liberty area is credited with providing 303 men who fought in the Revolution.
