WNLI (94.5 MHz) is a radio station licensed to serve State College, Pennsylvania. The station is owned by Jim Loftus though his holding company Covenant Communications and licensee JFLIV, LLC. History Eariy years WNLI's history broadcasting to State College on the 94.5 FM frequency includes operating under the call signs WGGY (1991–1992), WFGI (1992–2001), adult contemporary WLTS (2001–2006), and WSMO (February–August 2006). The call sign was officially changed to WBHV-FM on August 29, 2006. WNLI On December 30, 2022, it was announced that the station's top 40/CHR format would move to WRSC (1390 AM) as "Pop Radio" within days. Adult contemporary music (AC) is a form of radio-played popular music, ranging from 1960s vocal and 1970s soft rock music to predominantly ballad-heavy music of the present day, with varying degrees of easy listening, pop, soul, R&B, quiet storm and rock influence. Air1 is an American Christian radio network. Owned by the Educational Media Foundation (EMF), it primarily broadcasts contemporary worship music, and is a sister to the EMF's K-Love network. WKPA (107.9 FM) is a non-commercial radio station broadcasting Contemporary Christian music programming from the K-Love radio network. Licensed to serve Port Matilda, Pennsylvania, the station services the State College area. The station is owned by the Educational Media Foundation (EMF). History On October 17, 1994, WXXZ Port Matilda came on air quickly changing call sign to WIKN. Wink 108 programmed a rock-leaning CHR format. Due to a dispute between the license holder and the management group running the station, it went dark April 1, 1995. The station was sold to Telemedia and became a sister station to 97.1 WQWK and 1390 WRSC. The station then came back on the air in the summer of 1995, again as Wink 108, but with a Hot AC format. Jonestown is a census-designated place (CDP) in Columbia County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is part of Northeastern Pennsylvania. The population was 64 at the 2010 census. WBHV was an American radio station, licensed to the community of Somerset, Pennsylvania. The station was licensed to operate at 1330 kHz, with a daytime power of 5,000 watts, and a nighttime power of 35 watts. The station had been owned by Results Radio Company. History: beginnings as WADJ WBHV made its debut in the spring of 1981 as WADJ, owned by Johnstown radio and television legend Ron Lorence, known best to WJAC-TV audiences as the host of such popular locally-produced programs such as "Seniors Today" and "Scholastic Squares". Lorence was also known for many years (and still is today) as the voice of Pennsylvania's Allied Milk Producers' radio commercials.
