WKSY-LD (channel 21) is a low-power independent television station licensed to both Summerville and Trion, Georgia, United States. The station is owned by Gray Television. From its transmitter atop the Mack White Gap east of Summerville, in addition to cable coverage, WKSY-LD covers northwestern Georgia and northeastern Alabama, including Rome, Dalton and Ringgold, Georgia (the latter two are in the Chattanooga market); as well as Fort Payne, Alabama, but is within the Atlanta market. Previous history Before Gray acquired the station in 2022, the station carried several subchannels as "Sky 21", including a simulcast of WATC-DT from Atlanta and some local meetings, church services, and event and high school sports programming. WANF
WANF (channel 46) is a television station in Atlanta, Georgia, United States, affiliated with CBS. It is the flagship property of locally based Gray Television and is co-owned with independent station WPCH-TV (channel 17) and low-power, Class A Telemundo affiliate WKTB-CD (channel 47). WANF and WPCH-TV share studios on 14th Street Northwest in Atlanta's Atlantic Station district, while WANF's transmitter is located in the city's Woodland Hills section. The station was built in 1971 as WHAE-TV (later WANX-TV), owned by the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN). Originally a nonprofit operation airing religious programs, the station gradually became a more commercially oriented independent station and broadened its programming to include older movies and family-friendly classic TV shows. WATC-DT (channel 57) is a religious broadcasting independent television station in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Owned by Carolina Christian Broadcasting, the station maintains studios on Enterprise Drive in Norcross, and its transmitter is located on Sweat Mountain in northeastern Cobb County, near the Cherokee County line. Summerville is a city and the county seat of Chattooga County, Georgia, United States. The population was 4,534 at the 2010 census. Fort Payne is a city in and county seat of DeKalb County, in northeastern Alabama, United States. At the 2020 census, the population was 14,877. European-American settlers gradually developed the settlement around the former fort.
