WJUN is a sports radio station in the Lewistown, Pennsylvania Lewistown is a borough in and the county seat of Mifflin County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is the principal city of the '' Lewistown, PA Micropolitan Statistical Area'', which encompasses all of Mifflin County. It lies along the Juniata Ri ..., market. The station is owned by Kristin Cantrell's Seven Mountains Media, through licensee Southern Belle, LLC. The station was started by Lewistown Broadcasting under the name Juniata-Perry Broadcasting Co. Lewistown Broadcasting owned WMRF (1490), WLTN-FM (97.9) and had majority ownership of WJSW 1290 and WJSW-FM (100.1) Altoona, PA. WJUN signed on with 250 watts in September, 1955. Staff were DJs Don Lorenz, Tim Palm, Manager Ralph Parker and Engineer Ken Callahan. As a small market station (one of the smallest in PA at the time), the station had very little budget, so all equipment was used. Mexico is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Walker Township, Juniata County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 472 at the time of the 2010 census. Geography Mexico is located in central Juniata County at (40.543341, -77.354771), in the western part of Walker Township. It is bordered to the south by the Juniata River. U.S. Routes 22 and 322 run concurrently as a four-lane expressway along the northeastern edge of the community, with access from PA 75 at the northern tip of the community. Routes 22 and 322 lead northwest to Lewistown and southeast to Duncannon. PA 75 leads southwest across the Juniata River to Port Royal, and the William Penn Highway (old Routes 22/322) leads northwest to Mifflintown, the Juniata county seat. Lewistown is a borough in and the county seat of Mifflin County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is the principal city of the '' Lewistown, PA Micropolitan Statistical Area'', which encompasses all of Mifflin County. It lies along the Juniata River, northwest of Harrisburg. The number of people living in the borough in 1900 was 4,451; in 1910, 8,166; in 1940, 13,017; and in 2000, 8,998. The population was 8,561 at the 2020 census. ESPN Radio, which is alternately platform-agnostically branded as ESPN Audio, is an American sports radio network and extension of the ESPN television network.
