State Trunk Highway 28 (often called Highway 28, STH-28 or WIS 28) is a state highway in Dodge, Washington, and Sheboygan counties in southeastern portion of the US state of Wisconsin that runs east–west between Horicon and Sheboygan. The route is generally two-lane road beyond portions of the road within the city of Sheboygan and the half-mile portion of the highway near Waldo which runs concurrently with Wisconsin Highway 57. Route description WIS 28 begins at a junction with WIS 33 in Horicon. The highway junctions with WIS 67 northeast of Horicon in Mayvillle and follows WIS 67 north into Theresa. The two highways turn north onto WIS 175 there. WIS 28 turns east off the concurrency further north and junctions with Interstate 41 (I-41) after another east. State Trunk Highway 144 (often called Highway 144, STH-144 or WIS 144) is a state highway in southeastern Wisconsin, United States, that runs roughly north–south from Slinger to Random Lake. Route description Starting at Interstate 41/ US Highway 41 (I-41/US 41) at a diamond interchange, WIS 144 proceeds to travel northward. Also, the Kettle Moraine Scenic Drive runs concurrently with part of the highway. It travels adjacent to Big Cedar Lake. After that, in Nabob, the highway then meets WIS 33. Interstate 43 (I-43) is a Interstate Highway located entirely within the US state of Wisconsin, connecting I-39/ I-90 in Beloit with Milwaukee and I-41, U.S. Highway 41 (US 41) and US 141 in Green Bay. State Trunk Highway 32 (WIS 32) runs concurrently with I-43 in two sections and I-94, I-894, US 10, US 41, US 45, and WIS 57 overlap I-43 once each. There are no auxiliary or business routes connected to I-43, though an alternate route to direct traffic during road closures is signed along local and state highways from Milwaukee County north into Brown County. Blackwolf Run is a golf course complex in Kohler, Wisconsin. It is one of two golf destinations associated with The American Club, owned by a subsidiary of the Kohler Company. The other is the Whistling Straits complex in nearby Haven. Waldo is a village along the Onion River in Sheboygan County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 503 at the 2010 census. It has a post office with ZIP code 53093. It is included in the Sheboygan, Wisconsin Metropolitan Statistical Area. History The village was originally established as Lyndon Station (named for the town it resides in) when the Milwaukee and Northern Railway Company laid their tracks through in 1871. Starting in Milwaukee by 1873 the line had reached Green Bay, Wi.
