Martz Communications Group is an American radio broadcasting company, which operates three radio stations in the St. Lawrence River area of New York and one in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The company, which also operates under the names Radio Power and Cartier Communications, is co-based in Parishville, New York and San Francisco, California; with auxiliary offices in Reno, Nevada; Burlington, Vermont; and Pointe-Claire, Quebec. The company was founded in 1986 by Tim Martz, a native of Kitchener, Ontario who established a radio station in Presque Isle, Maine, taking advantage of the market across the border in New Brunswick, Canada without being required to submit to the rules of the CRTC. Mooers is a town in Clinton County, New York, United States. The population was 3,592 at the 2010 census. The town is named after Benjamin Mooers, an early settler. The town forms part of the northern border of Clinton County and is northwest of Plattsburgh. History The region was first settled . AM broadcasting is radio broadcasting using amplitude modulation (AM) transmissions. Malone, New York
Malone ( moh, Tekanatà:ronhwe) is a town in Franklin County, New York, United States. The population was 14,545 at the 2010 census. The town contains a village also named Malone. The town is an interior town located in the north-central part of the county. History The town was formed from part of the town of Chateaugay in 1805. The town was originally named "Harison", after Richard Harison, who had purchased the land and founded the town. The name was changed in 1808 to "Ezraville", after Ezra L'Hommedieu, and in 1812 to "Malone". During the War of 1812, the village was sacked by British troops making incursions from what would become Canada.
