WGZZ (94.3 FM, "Wings 94.3") is a radio station licensed to serve Waverly, Alabama, United States. The station is owned by Auburn Network, Inc. It airs a classic hits music format. The station was assigned the WGZZ call letters by the Federal Communications Commission on July 18, 2007. On April 19, 2010, WGZZ moved from 100.3 FM to 94.3 FM. Translators Format and Programs WGZZ ("Wings 94.3") airs classic rock from the late 1960s to the early 1980s. Auburn High School Tigers
The Auburn High School Tigers are the athletic teams which represent Auburn High School (Alabama), Auburn High School in Auburn, Alabama. Auburn High School's athletics program fields twenty-one varsity teams as a member of the large-school classification (7A) of the Alabama High School Athletic Association. The Tigers' school colors are royal blue and white (color), white and the school's mascot is a tiger named Samford. AHS's track and field teams have won fourteen state championships, while the Cross country running, cross country squad has won eight state titles. The golf teams have won four state championships since 2004. Auburn Tigers Men's Basketball
The Auburn Tigers men's basketball program is the intercollegiate men's basketball team that represents Auburn University. The school competes in the Southeastern Conference in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). The Auburn Tigers football program represents Auburn University in the sport of American college football. Auburn competes in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the Western Division of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). Auburn officially began competing in intercollegiate football in 1892. The Tigers joined the Southeastern Conference in 1932 as one of the inaugural members of the conference and the Tigers began competing in the West Division when the conference divided in 1992. Waverly is a town in Chambers and Lee counties in the U.S. state of Alabama. It is part of the Auburn Metropolitan Area. It was incorporated in 1910. As of 2010, the town population was 145.
