Timeless was a 24-hour satellite music service of Citadel Media (through Citadel Broadcasting). It has distributed a mix of soft oldies and adult standards to radio stations around the United States. It was a combination of two former formats: gold-based adult contemporary Unforgettable Favorites (also known as "Memories") and adult standards Timeless Classics/Timeless Favorites (originally known as "Stardust"). Since 2007, it was simply known as "Timeless", still using the "Timeless Favorites" branding sparingly. The studios and offices are on Acme Road in Brewer. WBZN has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 50,000 watts. The transmitter is off Miller Way in Alton. History The station first signed on the air on January 1, 1995. Previously, various owners attempted to put it on the air beginning in 1990. A construction permit for 107.3 was issued by the Federal Communications Commission in 1990 with the working call sign WUMC, but that version never made it to the airwaves. Mount Desert Island High School (MDIHS) is a public high school in Bar Harbor, Maine, United States. It was established in 1968 and is part of the Mount Desert Island Regional School District. History Mount Desert Island High School opened in fall 1968, absorbing students from Bar Harbor High School, Pemetic High School and Mount Desert High School (which previously merged with Gilman). Consolidation votes in 1949 and 1959 failed, but a successful 1965 vote started the process. Proponents of the consolidation stressed more opportunities for students and a better preparation for the professional life, while dissenters stressed a loss of local identity.
