WCT Arctic Cup
The WCT Arctic Cup (previously known as the Taimyr Cup, the CCT Arctic Cup and the Nornickel Curling Cup) is an annual bonspiel, or curling tournament, that takes place in late May at the Taimyr Ice Arena in Dudinka, Russia. The tournament is held in a Round Robin format. The tournament is part of the World Curling Tour. In 2016, the inaugural event was held between Russian men's teams. In 2017 and 2019 it was a women's event, and in 2018 and 2021 it was a mixed doubles Mixed doubles or mixed pairs is a form of mixed-sex sports that consists of teams of one man and one woman. Dudinka
Dudinka (russian: Дуди́нка; Nenets: Тут'ын, ''Tutꜧyn'') is a town on the Yenisei River and the administrative center of Taymyrsky Dolgano-Nenetsky District of Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia. It used to be the administrative center of Taymyr Autonomous Okrug, which was merged into Krasnoyarsk Krai on January 1, 2007. Petr Dmitrievich Dron (russian: Пётр Дмитриевич Дрон; born 28 August 1985 in Saint Petersburg) is a Russian curler and curling coach. He lives in St. Petersburg. He competed at the 2013 World Curling Championships, and at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. He currently coaches the Russian men's junior team. Career Dron has been playing on curling competitions since 1996. He finished the Lesgaft National State University of Physical Education, Sport and Health. Nationally, Dron won the Federation Cup of Russia (2010–2011), and thrice the Russian Men's Curling Championship (2007, 2011, 2013). Anna Vladimirovna Sidorova (russian: А́нна Влади́мировна Си́дорова; born 6 February 1991) is a Russian curler. She currently skips her own team on the World Curling Tour. Sidorova was the skip of the Russian team that won bronze medals at the World Women's Curling Championships from 2014 to 2016 and the silver medal at the 2017 World Women's Curling Championship. The 2017 CCT Arctic Cup was held May 19 to 21 at the Taimyr Ice Arena in Dudinka, Russia. Dmitry Andreyevich Mironov (russian: Дми́трий Андре́евич Миро́нов; born October 22, 1992, in Chelyabinsk) is a Russian curler from Sochi. As a junior curler, Mironov played second for Team Russia at two World Junior Curling Championships on teams skipped by Evgeny Arkhipov. Alexey Tselousov
Alexey Tselousov is a Russian curler from Saint Petersburg. Tselousov has played in eight European Curling Championships (1995, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2002, 2004, 2011), skipping all but two (1995 and 2004) when he played second for the Russian team. While playing on the Russian team, his best performance was 2004 when he played second for Alexander Kirikov. The rink finished in 8th place.
