101.8 WCR FM is a radio station that broadcasts to the city of Wolverhampton, England, on the VHF frequency of 101.8 under an Ofcom - Community Radio licence, at 6:00 a.m. on 30 March 2007 originally from studios in the Newhampton Arts Centre. WCR FM aims to be a vibrant, informative and hyperlocal station providing the city with an alternative service with a mix of speech, specialist and niche programming. The station's licence states it must broadcast a speech content of no less than 30% of its total output and this is achieved primarily by a weekday lunchtime magazine show and a heavier, local news/current affairs series with the station's Community Director, Chris Allen. Waterloo Central Railway
The Waterloo Central Railway (WCR) is a non-profit heritage railway owned and operated by the Southern Ontario Locomotive Restoration Society (SOLRS). In May 2007, SOLRS received joint approval from the Region of Waterloo and the City of Waterloo to run trains from Waterloo to St Jacobs and potentially as far north as Elmira. On a typical operating day, the train runs three times a day on Tuesdays (June to August), Thursdays (May to October) and Saturday (April to October). In 2015, the railway lost regular running rights south of Northfield Drive to make way for the Ion light rail project. All Market Train service now runs between St. Jacobs Farmers' Market, the Village of St. Jacobs, and Elmira, Ontario. West Clare Railway
The West Clare Railway (WCR) originally operated in County Clare, Ireland, between 1887 and 1961. This narrow-gauge railway ran from the county town of Ennis, via numerous stopping-points along the West Clare coast to two termini, at Kilrush and Kilkee, with the routes diverging at Moyasta Junction. The system was the last operating narrow gauge passenger system in Ireland and connected with the mainline rail system at Ennis, where a station still stands today for bus and train services to Limerick and Galway. Intermediate stops included Ennistymon, Lahinch and Milltown Malbay. A preservation society maintains a railway museum at Moyasta Junction station, and successfully re-opened a section of the railway as a passenger-carrying heritage line with diesel traction in the 1990s, and with steam motive power from 2009. West Coast Railway was a passenger train company operating in Victoria, Australia that operated services between Melbourne and Warrnambool from September 1993 until August 2004. The travel time for the journey (Warrnambool – Melbourne) was around 3 hours. This is on average around 30 minutes quicker than the current journeys. History West Coast Railway was formed in 1993 when the Kennett State Government offered long-distance country rail services previously run by the government-owned operator V/Line to private operators. West Coast Railways (WCR) is a railway spot-hire company and charter train operator based at Carnforth MPD in Lancashire. Using buildings and other facilities previously owned by the Steamtown Carnforth visitor attraction, in June 1998 the company became the first privately owned company to be given a licence as a train operating company. The West Cross Route (WCR) is a 0.75 mile (1.2 km) segment of dual carriageway of the A3220 route in West London running north–south between the northern elevated roundabout junction with the western end of Westway ( A40) and the southern Holland Park Roundabout. It runs through Shepherd's Bush to its west and Notting Hill to its east. The WCR opened in 1970, together with Westway. It was formerly the M41 motorway; its status was downgraded to an A-road in 2000 when responsibility for trunk roads in Greater London was transferred from the Highways Agency to the Greater London Authority. Although the road no longer has motorway status, pedal cycles are prohibited by a sign at Holland Park roundabout. ''World Championship Rugby'' is a computer and video game developed after the 2003 Rugby World Cup. It was developed by Swordfish Studios and published by Acclaim Entertainment. As well as all the teams and games from the 2003 Rugby World Cup, the game includes a number of other tournaments, such as Six Nations, Tri Nations, custom leagues and cups, classic matches and tour games. There is also a feature to beat the all- stars with every team in the game and a survival game. World Classic Rockers (or WCR) is a rock supergroup band that was founded based from Las Vegas in 1995 by Nick St. Nicholas of Steppenwolf. St. Nicholas has toured with the band since its inception, which, in similar fashion to Ringo Starr's All-Starr Band, rotates its lineup depending on the contributing musicians' projects at a given time. WCR performed for the first time in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on December 10, 1995, with St. Nicholas, Bobby Kimball of Toto, and Joey Molland of Badfinger with Richard Ward, Rosilee, Mike Younce, and Kurt Griffey in the backing band. World Climate Report, a newsletter edited by Patrick Michaels, was produced by the Greening Earth Society, a non-profit organization created by the Western Fuels Association. Early editions were paper based; it was then transferred to a web-only format, having ceased publication as a physically based report with Volume 8 in 2002. Its executive committee is called the ''World Council of Rusyns'' and currently has ten members: nine representing various countries in which most Rusyns live, and one ''ex officio'' voting member, the current chairperson of the ''World Forum of Rusyn Youth''.
