WAOC (1420 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a Christian talk and teaching format. Licensed to St. Augustine, Florida, United States, the station serves the Jacksonville area. The station is currently owned Good Tidings Trust, Inc. FM translator WAOC programming is also relayed on an FM translator. History 1950s 1954 WAOC begins broadcasting as WSTN on January 3. WBHQ (92.7 MHz) is a commercial FM radio station licensed to Beverly Beach, Florida, and serving Flagler County. It is owned by Flagler County Broadcasting and broadcasts an adult hits radio format known as "Beach 92.7." Unlike other adult hits stations that mainly play classic rock and classic alternative rock hits of the 1980s and 90s, WBHQ includes a good deal of the pop hits in its playlist. Like most adult hits stations, it uses no disc jockeys, but it does not have a voice making sarcastic or ironic quips, as heard on Jack FM and Bob FM stations. WYKB (105.3 FM) is a Spanish rhythmic radio station licensed to Fernandina Beach, Florida that serves the Jacksonville, Florida area. It is owned by Norberto Sanchez's Norsan Media. History WYKB broadcast a classic country format from October 15, 2013 until May 26, 2014. Prior to that, it used to broadcast a musica tropical format with emphasis toward Salsa and Reggaeton until August 5, 2013, when it flipped to a short-lived classic hits format. In broadcasting and radio communications, a call sign (also known as a call name or call letters—and historically as a call signal—or abbreviated as a call) is a unique identifier for a transmitter station. A call sign can be formally assigned by a government agency, informally adopted by individuals or organizations, or even cryptographically encoded to disguise a station's identity. The use of call signs as unique identifiers dates to the landline railroad telegraph system.
