WBGR-FM (93.7 FM; "The Big FM") is a radio station broadcasting an oldies format. Licensed to Monroe, Wisconsin, United States, the station is owned by Big Radio. Their studios are east of Monroe, at W4765 Radio Lane. The transmitter site is southwest of Monroe, on Franklin Road. Co-owned WEKZ broadcasts at 1260 AM and features a classic country format. History Until December 2010, WEKZ-FM was known as "The Big Easy 93.7" for many years and had broadcast an adult contemporary format. WBGR-LD (channel 18) is a low-power television station licensed to both Bangor and Dedham, Maine, United States, affiliated with MeTV. The station is owned by James McLeod, and maintains studios and transmitter facilities on Ohio Street in Glenburn, Maine. History WBGR first went on the air on August 28, 1995 as Bangor's WB affiliate to become the first commercial UHF station in the market and the first new commercial station locally built in over 30 years. That relationship ended in 1998 when The WB created a cable-only channel for its smaller markets (known as WBAN in Bangor); around the same time, the station added programming from the Pax (now Ion Television) network, which launched at that time. WFSI (860 AM), formerly WBGR, is a radio station broadcasting a Religious format. Licensed to Baltimore, Maryland, United States, the station is currently owned by Family Radio. WFSI-AM airs several Christian ministry broadcasts from noted teachers such as RC Sproul, Alistair Begg, Ken Ham, John F. WLZL (107.9 FM, "El Zol 107.9 FM") is a commercial FM radio station licensed to serve College Park, Maryland. The station is owned by Audacy, Inc. through licensee Audacy License, LLC and broadcasts a Spanish tropical format.
