WBAB Homegrown Album
WBAB Homegrown Album is the first compilation album recorded for WBAB-FM in Babylon (village), New York, Babylon, New York. The album was manufactured in 1981 at PRI Record Pressing in Wyandanch, New York. It was designed to commemorate some of the station's best local acts and performances culled from the station's "Homegrown Hour" program, a show dedicated to promoting bands based on, or somehow tied to Long Island, New York. The album contains songs by The Good Rats, Twisted Sister, and Zebra (American band), Zebra, among others, and was partially attributed to the success of these bands. The recording of Zebra (American band), Zebra's first hit "Who's Behind the Door?," is an earlier version not found on their own Zebra (Zebra album), 1983 debut album. It also contains songs written by some of the station's disc jockeys, as well as an extended version of the station's jingle. WBAB-FM
WBAB (102.3 FM) is a classic rock radio station licensed to Babylon, New York and owned by Cox Radio. The station is also simulcast on WHFM (95.3 FM) licensed to Southampton, New York and serving eastern Long Island. History WBAB first went on the air August 27, 1958 as WBAB-FM. It simulcast WBAB (1440 AM), until September 1975 when 1440 AM adopted a Gospel music format. 2006 signal hijacking On the morning of Wednesday, May 17, 2006, the station's signal was hijacked for about 90 seconds while the signal jammers broadcast the song "Nigger Hatin' Me" by the 1960s-era white supremacist country singer Johnny Rebel. Roger Luce, the station's morning host, said at the time, "I've never seen this in 22 years at this radio station... Whatever that was - it was very racist." "Roadhouse Blues" is a song by the American rock band the Doors from their 1970 album '' Morrison Hotel''. It was released as the B-side of "You Make Me Real", which peaked at No. 50 on the U.S. ''Billboard'' Hot 100. The Doors
The Doors were an American Rock music, rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1965, with vocalist Jim Morrison, keyboardist Ray Manzarek, guitarist Robby Krieger, and drummer John Densmore. Judas Priest

The Osmonds
The Osmonds were an American family music group who reached the height of their fame in the early to mid-1970s. The group had its best-known configurations as a quartet (billed as the Osmond Brothers) and a quintet (as the Osmonds). The group has consisted of siblings who are all members of a family of musicians from Ogden, Utah, and have been in the public eye since the 1960s. The Osmond Brothers began as a barbershop quartet consisting of brothers Alan, Wayne, Merrill and Jay. Ozzy Osbourne
John Michael "Ozzy" Osbourne (born 3 December 1948) is an English singer, songwriter, and television personality. He rose to prominence during the 1970s as the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Black Sabbath, during which period he adopted the nickname "Prince of Darkness". The Good Rats are an American rock band from Long Island, New York. Their music mixes elements of rock with blues and pop. They are best known on their native Long Island, although they had some success nationally and internationally. History Formed in 1964, the original group consisted of five students from St. John's University in Queens, New York: Ted Haenlein, Frank Stapleton (Frank never plugged in his bass as he did not play it, but it looked good on stage), Eric Crane, Denny Ryan and Peppi Marchello.
