Appleton, Warrington
Appleton is a civil parish and suburb of Warrington, in the Warrington district, in the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. Geography and landmarks The A49 road runs from neighbouring Stockton Heath up the hill into Appleton and links Warrington town centre with the M56 motorway. At the top of Appleton is Warrington Golf Club. There is also a large cemetery situated nearby which is named Fox Covert Cemetery. The cemetery is locally called Hillcliffe. Stockton Heath
Stockton Heath is a civil parish and suburb of Warrington, in the Borough of Warrington, Cheshire, England. It is located to the north of the Bridgewater Canal and to the south of the Manchester Ship Canal, which divides Stockton Heath from Latchford and north Warrington. It has a total resident population of 6,396. Victoria Square is at the centre of Stockton Heath and is on the crossroads of the A49 and A56. Culcheth
Culcheth is a village in the Borough of Warrington, ceremonial county of Cheshire and historic county of Lancashire, England, six miles (10 km) north-east of Warrington town centre; it is the principal settlement in Culcheth and Glazebury civil parish. Rixton With Glazebrook
Rixton-with-Glazebrook is a civil parish in the Borough of Warrington, Cheshire, England. Historically part of Lancashire, it lies to the east of Warrington and borders Cadishead, and is largely farmland. It has a railway station at Glazebrook and is served by buses along the A57 road. The parish was originally a township within Warrington parish before becoming a separate parish in 1866. It was part of the Warrington Poor Law Union and, from 1894, Warrington Rural District, and the District of Warrington from 1974. According to the 2011 Census, Rixton-with-Glazebrook parish had a population of 1,960. Glazebrook has a small housing estate, a post office and Glazebrook railway station. Birchwood is a town in the Borough of Warrington, Cheshire, England with a population of 11,395 (as at the 2001 census). Lowton is a suburban village within the Metropolitan Borough of Wigan, in Greater Manchester, England. It is around from Leigh, south of Wigan and west of Manchester city centre. The settlement lies across the A580 East Lancashire Road.
