WAUE (100.3 FM, "AU100") is a radio station licensed to serve the community of Waverly, Alabama. The station is owned by Marble City Media, LLC and airs an adult contemporary music format. The station was assigned the call sign WAUA by the Federal Communications Commission on November 2, 2015. The station changed its call sign to WAUE on March 24, 2019. On November 13, 2019, WAUE changed their format from country to adult contemporary, branded as "AU100". As part of an agreement between the university and station owner RadioAlabama, the station added Auburn Tigers baseball and women's basketball broadcasts in July 2023. WSGN (98.3 FM) is a radio station broadcasting an oldies format. Licensed to Stewartville, Alabama, United States, it serves East Central Alabama. The station is owned and operated by Marble City Media LLC. Originally licensed in Sylacauga, WSGN first signed on as WMLS-FM in December 1959 and moved to Ashland in 2004. On July 19, 2016, the Federal Communications Commission approved Marble City Media LLC's purchase of the then-WFXO from Williams Communications Inc., and the transfer was completed on August 1, 2016. On October 24, 2016, the FCC approved the station's relocation back to the greater Sylacauga area with a license in Stewartville. The station ceased operation in Ashland on November 24, 2016, and began broadcasting from the Sylacauga area on December 4. Waverly is a town in Chambers and Lee counties in the U.S. state of Alabama. It is part of the Auburn Metropolitan Area. It was incorporated in 1910. As of 2010, the town population was 145. Waverly has an operating post office, and four churches are located in the town. History Waverly was settled in the 1830s, but saw little growth until the 1870s. The Auburn Tigers women's basketball program is the intercollegiate women's basketball team that represents Auburn University. The school competes in the Southeastern Conference in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). The Auburn Tigers baseball team represents Auburn University in NCAA Division I college baseball. Along with most other Auburn athletic teams, the baseball team participates in the Western division of the Southeastern Conference.
