WABB is an American radio station located in Belton, South Carolina, The station is licensed by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to broadcast on 1390 AM with a transmitter power of 1,000 watts during the day and 17 watts at night under a non-directional pattern. The station airs a Christian format with Southern gospel music as an affiliate of The Life FM. History Prior to its acquisition by Big Fish Broadcasting in 2008, the station carried a religious radio format with the WLUA callsign. Starting in early 2008, it began simulcasting sister station WYOR, "Your 94" and its Variety Hits format. The station adopted the WABB call sign on November 9, 2012, after it was dropped from WTKD in Mobile, Alabama. Due to technical problems, this station has operated only briefly from May 2012 until December 17, 2013. WABF (1480 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station licensed to Mobile, Alabama. It is owned by Donald Pugh, through licensee Eternity Record Company LLC, broadcasting a solid gold oldies and adult standards radio format. WABF's radio studios are on North Church Street in Fairhope. By day, WABF is powered at 5,000 watts non-directional. But at night, to avoid interference to other stations on 1480 AM, WABF reduces power to 4,400 watts and uses a directional antenna. WABD (97.5 FM) is an American radio station licensed to serve the community of Mobile, Alabama. The station, established in 1973 as WABB-FM, is owned and operated by Cumulus Media. Its studios are on Dauphin Street in Midtown Mobile, and its transmitter is near Spanish Fort, Alabama. This station began broadcasting a contemporary hit radio music branded as "97-5 WABD" on July 15, 2012.
