W. Ward Reynoldson
Walter Ward Reynoldson (May 17, 1920 – March 28, 2016) was an American lawyer and judge. Born in St. Edward, Nebraska, Reynoldson graduated from Wayne State College, in Wayne, Nebraska, in 1942 and then served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He received his law degree in 1948, from the University of Iowa College of Law. Reynoldson practiced law in Osceola, Iowa. Reynoldson served as Justice of the Iowa Supreme Court from May 1, 1971, until his retirement on October 1, 1987, appointed from Clarke County, Iowa. From August 3, 1978, until his retirement, he served as chief justice. Wayne State College
Wayne State College is a public college in Wayne, Nebraska. It is part of the Nebraska State College System and enrolls 4,202 students. The college opened as a public normal school in 1910 after the state purchased the private Nebraska Normal College (established 1891). The State Normal College became State Normal School and Teacher's College in 1921. This was changed to Nebraska State Teachers College at Wayne in 1949 and the present name was adopted in 1963. Academics Wayne State offers 130 different programs of study in four Schools: Arts and Humanities, Business and Technology, Education and Counseling, and Natural and Social Sciences.
