Võ Hoàng Yến (born October 29, 1988) is a Vietnamese beauty pageant contestant, model and occasional actress. She won the Vietnam Supermodel 2008 contest and is the 1st runner-up of Miss Universe Vietnam 2008. She represented Vietnam in the Miss Universe 2009 pageant in the Bahamas. Biography At the starting point of career, she competed Miss Vietnam Photogenic 2006 and finished in the Top 10. Afterward, she entered entertainment as a model. She was rated to be one of the top potential contestant of Vietnam Supermodel 2008 as she later won the gold medal. She also received the award for the highest vote from the audience. Miss Universe Vietnam 2008, the 1st Miss Universe Vietnam pageant, was held on May 31, 2008, at the Vinpearl Land resort in Nha Trang, Khánh Hoà, Vietnam. 20 contestants competed for the crown. The first winner of the pageant was Nguyễn Thùy Lâm, the host delegate for the Miss Universe 2008 pageant held July 14, 2008, also in Nha Trang. She made the Top 15. Dương Trương Thiên Lý (born 16 July 1989) is a Vietnamese actress, director, model and beauty pageant titleholder. Accordingly, she gained placement as 2nd runner-up in Miss Universe Vietnam 2008, and represented Vietnam in the Miss World 2008 pageant in South Africa. Vietnam's Next Top Model (season 8)
The eighth cycle of ''Vietnam's Next Top Model'' (subtitled as ''Vietnam's Next Top Model: All Stars'' and stylized as ''Vietnam's Next Top Model ALL ★ STARS'') premiered on June 24, 2017 on VTV3. The cycle was originally announced to be an all-stars co-ed cycle, but was later changed to the original format of an all-female cycle. This cycle featured contestants who had previously competed in cycles 1-7 who were not the winners. In addition to the all-star cast, a separate search was held for all-new aspiring contestants. Miss World 2008, the 58th edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 13 December 2008 at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa.
