Vårberg
Vårberg is a suburb in the Skärholmen borough in the Söderort region of Stockholm, Sweden. Location Vårberg borders Skärholmen, Vårby gård, Huddinge, Estbröte, Kungshatt, and Ekerö. It has an area of 197 hectares of land and 65 hectares of water. Its population is 8,454 as of 31 December 2007. Vårberg contains the highest natural point in Stockholm, Vikingaberget, which is 77.24 meters above sea level. Vårberg also includes Vårbergstoppen, an artificial hill which was built from spoil from the excavation the Stockholm metro and which at 90 meters above sea level is the highest point of land in Stockholm. Söderort (literally "the southern place", sometimes translated to ''South Stockholm'') is the southern suburban part of the Stockholm Municipality, Sweden. It is also part of the city of Stockholm. Kungshatt
Kungshatt () is a small island in Lake Mälaren, Stockholm, Sweden. Roughly 1.9 square kilometers in area, it has a very small year-round population, and a number of summer houses. The island has an independent water supply, but receives its electricity from the mainland. The island is named after the copper hat put in place on top of a cliff facing towards Vårberg. According to legend, a Swedish king jumped off the cliff while fleeing from his enemies, dropping his hat in the process. The Stockholm metro ( sv, Stockholms tunnelbana) is a rapid transit system in Stockholm, Sweden. The first line opened in 1950, and today the system has 100 stations in use, of which 47 are underground and 53 above ground. There are three coloured lines, as shown on the tube maps, which form seven numbered routes with different termini. Routes numbered 17, 18 and 19 (green line), 13 and 14 (red line) and 10 and 11 (blue line) all go through the centre of the city, resulting in a very centralized system. All three lines and seven routes interchange at T-Centralen station. Apart from this, there are three other interchange between lines, at Fridhemsplan, Slussen and Gamla stan stations. The metro is equipped with ticket gates.
