Vulturești is a commune in Argeș County, Muntenia, Romania. It is composed of three villages: Bârzești, Huluba and Vulturești. These were part of Hârtiești Commune until 2003, when they were split off. The commune is located in the eastern part of the county, on the border with Dâmbovița County. It lies at a distance of from the county seat, Pitești, from Câmpulung, and from Bucharest. Muntenia
Muntenia (, also known in English as Greater Wallachia) is a historical region of Romania, part of Wallachia (also, sometimes considered Wallachia proper, as ''Muntenia'', ''Țara Românească'', and the seldom used ''Valahia'' are synonyms in Romanian). Pitești () is a city in Romania, located on the river Argeș.
