Voodoo-U
''Voodoo-U'' is the second studio album from Belgian electronic band Lords of Acid. It was released in 1994 on Rick Rubin's American Recordings label. The album begins the band's move from the rave sounds of predecessor ''Lust'' to a heavier, industrial music style. Lyrically the band maintains their outrageous sex-and-drugs themes. Lead vocal duties on ''Voodoo-U'' are performed by Ruth McArdle and backing vocals by Jade 4U, while some songs feature only Jade 4U. The album's first single, "The Crablouse", is an ode to pubic lice. The album's cover art was available in both a censored and uncensored version — the uncensored version featuring nude, fluorescent-orange-colored lesbian devils having a sexual orgy. Our Little Secret
''Our Little Secret'' is the third studio album from Belgian electronic band Lords of Acid. It was released in 1997 on Antler-Subway Records. Both musically and lyrically, Lords of Acid maintain the industrial music and sexually charged songs found on their previous album '' Voodoo-U''. Lead vocal duties on ''Our Little Secret'' were performed by Jade 4 U. The front CD cover is a photo of a woman from the waist up, while the unfolded CD cover booklet is the completed full-body photograph which reveals an outline of a penis in her blue jeans. Displaying the band's trademark tongue-in-cheek humor, the back cover of the album presented ''Our Little Secret'' as a live recording of a classical music concert, as presented by "The Lords of Acid Orchestra". The song titles are presented with faux, intentionally pretentious parentheticals pertaining to classical pieces. Lords of Acid is a Belgian/American electronic dance music (EDM) group led by musician Praga Khan. They are best known for making songs with sexual lyrics and sexually explicit tracks, such as their hit " Pussy". History Lords of Acid debuted with the new beat single "I Sit on Acid" in 1988. Created by Praga Khan, Olivier Adams, and Jade 4U; their debut album, 1991's ''Lust'' (along with additional singles "Rough Sex" and "I Must Increase My Bust"). ''Lust'' is the debut album by Belgian new beat band Lords of Acid, released in 1991. The band had released several 12-inch singles prior to their full-length debut, and these songs ("I Sit on Acid" and "Hey Ho!") were already dance club hits. Continuing with their outrageous sexually-explicit, always tongue-in-cheek, often humorous lyrical themes, ''Lust'' had earned positive reviews from music critics, both in and out of the dance music community. Frederick Jay Rubin (; born March 10, 1963) is an American record producer. He is the co-founder (alongside Russell Simmons) of Def Jam Recordings, founder of American Recordings, and former co-president of Columbia Records. Coop (artist)
Coop (real name Chris Cooper) is a hot rod artist working from Los Angeles. He was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1968, and describes his occupation as "Insensitive Artiste." His work consists primarily of barely clothed or nude Bettie Page-style 1950s soft pornography and B-movie monsters, with the female characters often taking the role of "Devil-Women". The image most often associated with his work however is the face of a grinning devil with a smoking cigar clamped in its teeth. Coop has become popular with certain bands and labels and has provided art for several Sympathy for the Record Industry releases as well as the posters for The Reverend Horton Heat, Lords of Acid, MxPx, Green Day, Nirvana, Soundgarden and Foo Fighters. Coop is an avid hot rod enthusiast and well known amongst the Kustom Kulture community. He makes an annual appearance at the Mooneyes Xmas party.
