Von Flores
Valentin Andres Tanga Flores IV, known by his professional name as Von Flores, is a Filipino-Canadian actor. He is often cast as commanding or aggressive characters. Early life and education Von was born in Malabon and lived in Pateros until age 13 when his family migrated to Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City and the Centre for Actors' Study in Toronto. Career Flores' first audition landed him a guest starring role on ''Night Heat''. Flores went on to perform roles in a number of television productions, including the series '' Kung Fu: The Legend Continues'' and the Atlantis Films ''TekWar'', ''TekJustice'' and ''TekLords'' TV movies. Eugene Wesley Roddenberry Sr. (August 19, 1921 – October 24, 1991) was an American television screenwriter, producer, and creator of ''Star Trek: The Original Series'', its sequel spin-off series ''Star Trek: The Animated Series,'' and ''Star Trek: The Next Generation''. Born in El Paso, Texas, Roddenberry grew up in Los Angeles, where his father was a police officer. Roddenberry flew 89 combat missions in the United States Army Air Forces, Army Air Forces during World War II and worked as a commercial pilot after the war. Later, he followed in his father's footsteps and joined the Los Angeles Police Department, where he also began to write scripts for television. China Airlines Flight 140 was a regularly scheduled passenger flight from Chiang Kai-shek International Airport (serving Taipei, Taiwan) to Nagoya Airport in Nagoya, Japan.China Airlines is based in Taiwan. Air China is the flag carrier for the People's Republic of China. On 26 April 1994, the Airbus A300B4-622R was completing a routine flight and approach, when, just seconds before landing at Nagoya Airport, the takeoff/go-around setting (TO/GA) was inadvertently triggered. The pilots attempted to pitch the aircraft down while the autopilot, which was not disabled, was pitching the aircraft up. TransAsia Airways Flight 235 was a TransAsia Airways domestic flight from Taipei to Kinmen (Quemoy). On , the aircraft serving the flight, a 10-month-old ATR 72-600, crashed into the Keelung River shortly after takeoff from Taipei Songshan Airport, to the east of Songshan in Taiwan. The aircraft had 53 passengers and five crew on board; 15 of them survived. Two minutes after takeoff, the pilots reported an engine flameout. Philippine Airlines Flight 434, sometimes referred to as PAL434 or PR434, was a flight on December 11, 1994 from Cebu to Tokyo on a Boeing 747-283B that was seriously damaged by a bomb, killing one passenger and damaging vital control systems. The bombing was a test run of the unsuccessful Bojinka terrorist attacks.
