Volleyball At The 2015 Pan American Games – Women's Tournament
The women's tournament of volleyball at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto, Canada began on July 16 and end on July 26. All games were held at the Exhibition Centre. The United States defeated 3-0 to Brazil, who were the defending champions. American Carli Lloyd became the Most Valuable Player. Teams Qualification The following nations qualified for the women's tournament: Squads At the start of tournament, all eight participating countries had 12 players on their rosters. Final squads for the tournament are due on June 16, 2015 a month before the start of 2015 Pan American Games. Direct Energy Centre
The Enercare Centre, formerly known as the Direct Energy Centre and originally the National Trade Centre, is an exhibition complex located at Exhibition Place in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is used by the Canadian National Exhibition and the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, as well as by various trade shows. Volleyball At The 2015 Pan American Games
Volleyball competitions at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto was held from July 16 to 26 at the Direct Energy Centre (Exhibition Centre). Due to naming rights the arena was known as the latter for the duration of the games. A total of eight men's and women's teams competed in each respective tournament. The tournament was affected by the 2015 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix, FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix and the 2015 FIVB Volleyball World League, FIVB Volleyball World League which were played at same time. Camila Brait
Camila de Paula Brait (born October 28, 1988) is a volleyball player from Frutal, Brazil, who plays as a libero. She currently defends Osasco Voleibol Clube and is retired from the Brazilian national team. She won the silver medal while representing Brazil at the 2020 Summer Olympics. Career She started her career defending URS/Sacramento. Karina Ocasio Clemente (born August 1, 1985) is a volleyball player from Puerto Rico, who competed for the Women's National Team at the 2008 Olympic Qualification Tournament in Japan. There the team ended up in eighth and last place, having received a wild card for the event after Peru and Kenya withdrew. Nicole Marie Fawcett (born December 16, 1986) is an American indoor volleyball player who won the 2014 World Championship and 2015 Pan American Games gold medal with the United States national team. Fawcett played for Penn State University from 2005–2008, winning two NCAA national championships in 2007 and 2008. Rachael Alexis Adams (born June 3, 1990) is an American former professional volleyball player who played as a middle blocker for the United States women's national volleyball team. Adams won gold with the national team at the 2014 World Championship and bronze at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
