''Voglia di guardare'' , also known as ''Midnight Gigolo'' and ''Peep Show'', is a 1986 Italian erotic film directed by Joe D'Amato. Plot Christina is the neglected wife of Diego, an overworked doctor. Feeling more and more alone, she decides to begin a relationship with the beautiful Andrea, who is also the owner of an elegant bordello. Aristide Massaccesi (15 December 1936 – 23 January 1999), known professionally as Joe D'Amato, was an Italian film director, producer, cinematographer, and screenwriter who worked in many genres (westerns, decamerotici, peplum, war films, swashbuckler, comedy, fantasy, postapocalyptic film, and erotic thriller) but is best known for his horror, erotic and adult films. D'Amato worked in the 1950s as electric and set photographer, in the 1960s as camera operator, and from 1969 onwards as cinematographer. Starting in 1972, he directed and co-directed around 200 films under numerous pseudonyms, regularly acting as cinematographer as well. Starting in the early 1980s, D'Amato produced many of his own and other directors' genre films through the companies he founded or co-founded, the best known being Filmirage. Jenny Tamburi (27 November 1952 – 1 March 2006), born as Luciana Tamburini, was an Italian actress and television hostess. Her first stage name was "Luciana della Robbia" and after her first film she changed it to "Jenny Tamburi". Born in Rome, she debuted on stage with Johnny Dorelli at 17, in ''Aggiungi un posto a tavola''. Her film debut was in 1970 in Vittorio Caprioli's ''Splendours and miseries of Madame Royale'', opposite Ugo Tognazzi. Tamburi portrayed a femme fatale in ''La seduzione'' (1973). She was active in genre films, especially commedia sexy all'italiana and giallo films. After retiring from acting she worked as a casting director and opened a drama school in Rome. Marino Masè (21 March 1939 – 28 May 2022) was an Italian actor who appeared in more than 70 films. Life Masè was born in Trieste on 21 March 1939. While still a teenager, he joined the laboratory for young actors of the production company Vides by Franco Cristaldi and studied acting under Alessandro Fersen. He made his stage debut in 1960 in ''L'arialda'', directed by Luchino Visconti, and his film debut in the 1961 adventure '' Romulus and the Sabines'' by Richard Pottier. He had several leading roles in the first half of the 1960s, including Marco Bellocchio's ''Fists in the Pocket'' and Jean-Luc Godard's ''Les Carabiniers'', then he was mainly cast in supporting roles.
