Vlado Dijak
Vlado Dijak (1925 in Brezovo Polje, Brčko District, Kingdom of Yugoslavia – 1988 in Sarajevo, Socialist Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, SR Bosnia and Herzegovina, Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, SFR Yugoslavia) was a well-known Yugoslav Bosnians, Bosnian poet and songwriter. Biography He attended high school in Banja Luka. At the age of 17 he joined the Partisans (Yugoslavia), Yugoslav partisans. After World War II he studied literature for a brief period of time. He wrote for ''Banjalučke novine'', and Radio Sarajevo. He was a prisoner on Goli Otok, where he was held as a political prisoner. He published books of poems ''Ambassador boema'', ''Partizanske pjesme'', ''Ljubičasti kišobran'', as well as novels ''Kafana San'', ''Topovi i slavuji'', ''Crni konj''. Brčko District
Brčko District ( bs, Brčko Distrikt; hr, Brčko Distrikt; sr, Брчко Дистрикт, ), officially the Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina ( bs, Brčko Distrikt Bosne i Hercegovine; hr, Brčko Distrikt Bosne i Hercegovine; ), is the self-governing administrative unit in north-eastern Bosnia and Herzegovina. A humorist (American) or humourist (British spelling) is an intellectual who uses humor, or wit, in writing or public speaking, but is not an artist who seeks only to elicit laughs. Indexi was a Bosnian and former Yugoslav rock band popular in Yugoslavia. It formed in 1962 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and disbanded in 2001 when singer Davorin Popović died. Some of their most notable songs are "Svijet u kome živim" and "Negdje u kraju, u zatišju" with lyrics by Želimir Altarac Čičak, "Plima", "Sve ove godine", "Sanjam" and "Bacila je sve niz rijeku", which was later covered by many other ex-Yugoslavian groups, notably Crvena jabuka. Indexi formed in 1962, and their name was derived from the "Indeks" which was a student's grade log. They began by making instrumental covers of popular hits, but in 1967 started composing. They were known as the "Pioneers of Psychedelic Rock", and were inspired by many bands like the Beatles, Yes, and The Guess Who. Arsenije "Arsen" Dedić ( sr-Cyrl, Арсеније "Арсен" Дедић, ; 28 July 1938 – 17 August 2015) was a Croatian singer-songwriter. He wrote and performed chansons, as well as film music. He was also an award-winning poet, and was one of the best-selling poets of former Yugoslavia and Croatia. Zdravko Čolić (, ; born 30 May 1951) is a Bosnian Serb singer and is widely considered one of the greatest vocalists and cultural icons of the former Yugoslavia.
