Vladislav Bulakhov (russian: Владислав Булахов) is a Russian conductor, violinist, and Honoured Artist of Russia. He graduated from the Gnessin State Musical College in 1984 and prior to it have served under guidance from Igor Zhukov at the Moscow Chamber Orchestra. Igor Zhukov
Igor Mikhaylovich Zhukov (31 August 1936 – 26 January 2018) was a Russian pianist, conductor and sound engineer. Zhukov was born in Nizhny Novgorod in 1936 but his family moved to Moscow in the following year. Four years later, they were evacuated to Vyatka (then known as Kirov) as a result of the Second World War. After the war, they returned to Moscow, where Zhukov studied at the Conservatory in 1955, studying first with Emil Gilels and then, in 1955, with Heinrich Neuhaus. He graduated in 1960, having won second prize in the Long-Thibaud Piano Competition in Paris. Apart from a career as a pianist, Zhukov also conducted his own ensemble, the Moscow Chamber Orchestra until his retirement from conducting in 1994, and was the pianist of the long-running Zhukov Piano Trio which was founded in 1963 and continued performing until 1980. The Moscow Chamber Orchestra (MCO) is a chamber orchestra run under the auspices of the Moscow Philharmonia, a state-run enterprise, formerly under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture (Soviet Union) and now, Ministry of Culture of Russian Federation. The MCO has performed throughout Russia and other East European countries. The orchestra was founded in 1955 by Rudolf Barshai. The MCO has since played in over eighty nations and played several million live concert concerts worldwide. ''The Seasons'', Op. 37a (also seen as Op. 37b; russian: Времена года; published with the French title ''Les Saisons''), is a set of twelve short character pieces for solo piano by the Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. Each piece is the characteristic of a different month of the year in Russia. The work is also sometimes heard in orchestral and other arrangements by other hands.
