Vladimir Firm (5 June 1923 – 27 November 1996) was a Croatian football player. He was part of Yugoslavia's squad at the 1952 Summer Olympics, but he did not play in any matches. A total of 34 teams entered the qualification rounds of the 1950 FIFA World Cup, competing for a total of 16 spots in the final tournament. Brazil, as the hosts, and Italy, as the defending champions, qualified automatically, leaving 14 spots open for competition.
