Vivian Pickles
Vivian Pickles (born 21 October 1931) is an English actress. Biography Pickles began her career as a child star after being chosen by Mary Field for a series of Saturday Morning children's films, including the lead roles in ''Jean's Plan'' (1944) and the serial ''The Adventures of Peter Joe'' (1945). At the age of 14, she played Alice in George More O'Ferrall's BBC production of '' Alice in Wonderland'' which was broadcast live from Alexandra Palace in London. During this period, she acted at the Q Theatre in ''Vice Versa'' with Charles Hawtrey and made her West End debut as Wee Willie Winkie in ''Land of the Xmas Stocking'' at the Duke of York's Theatre, with Richard Goolden. After being educated at in Paris, she started her adult performing career acting in repertory and progressed to featured roles in West End revues. Gordon Massey Gostelow (14 May 1925 – 3 June 2007) was an Australian actor. He was educated in Australia at North Sydney Boys High School and Sydney University where he graduated in Economics. Gostelow went to England in 1950 and worked in the theatre (regional repertory), including the Royal Shakespeare Company and various roles on British television. In Shakespeare he was especially associated with the role of the alcoholic reprobate Bardolph in the Henriad plays. He played the character on television in both ''An Age of Kings'' in 1960 and in the BBC Television Shakespeare's version of the plays in 1979. He also played several other roles in the former production, but was said to have been "born" to play Bardolph. Henry Kendall (actor)
Henry Kendall AFC, (28 May 1897 – 9 June 1962) was an English stage and film actor, theatre director and revue artiste. His early theatrical career was curtailed by the First World War, in which he served with distinction. Resuming his stage career in 1919 he appeared mostly in the West End, with one excursion to Broadway and occasional tours of the British provinces, particularly during the Second World War. He was dismissive of his career as a screen actor, but made more than 40 films for the cinema. As a theatre director he was responsible for more than 20 productions, in a minority of which he also starred. In his later years he had heart problems, which forced his temporary withdrawal from the theatre in 1957. He died of a heart attack in the south of France in 1962, at the age of 65. He was unmarried. Giles Stannus Cooper, OBE (9 August 1918 – 2 December 1966) was an Anglo-Irish playwright and prolific radio dramatist, writing over sixty scripts for BBC Radio and television.
