Vivian Cash
Vivian Distin (née ''Liberto'', formerly ''Cash'') (April 23, 1934 – May 24, 2005) was an American homemaker and author. She was the first wife of singer Johnny Cash and the inspiration for his first hit single "I Walk the Line". Following her marriage, she became known for the controversy and misinformation surrounding her racial identity. Biography Vivian (left) with Johnny and their kids in 1961. June Carter Cash (born Valerie June Carter; June 23, 1929 – May 15, 2003) was an American singer, songwriter and dancer. A five-time Grammy award-winner, she was a member of the Carter Family and the second wife of singer Johnny Cash.
