Anaís Vivas (born 25 August 1989) is a Venezuelan singer. She had remarkable success with her debut album ''Ser'', positioning her songs "Muero por ti" and "Por el resto de mi vida" in the Record Report music chart in 2011, and obtaining international recognition with an HTV Heat Award for Best Female Artist. Ángel Omar Vivas Perdomo is a Venezuelan Brigadier General. He has made himself known as an outspoken opponent of the politicization of the Venezuelan Armed Forces, by going to the supreme court to challenge the introduction of a war cry originally created by Fidel Castro, as the motto for the military in Venezuela. He was arrested, prosecuted, and on 1 March 2012, sentenced to 4 months and 15 days in jail for having challenged the motto in court. César Alejandro Pérez Vivas (born April 24, 1957), is a Venezuelan lawyer and politician associated with COPEI in Táchira State. From 2008 to 2012, he was the Governor of Táchira. Career He studied the secondary level at Jáuregui, a military school from Táchira State. Later Pérez Vivas got graduated as a lawyer at the Catholic University of Tachira. Anna Katherina Vivas (born 1972) is a Venezuelan astrophysicist recognized for her investigations of and finding up to 100 new and very distant RR Lyrae stars. They are between 13,000 and 220,000 light years from the Sun, and are considered some of the oldest in the Milky Way.
