Paolo Cavara
Paolo Cavara (4 July 1926 – 7 August 1982) was an Italian screenwriter and film director. He is best known for collaborating with Gualtiero Jacopetti and Franco E. Prosperi on the 1962 mondo film ''Mondo Cane'', and for directing the fiction film ''The Wild Eye'' (1967) and two giallo films, ''Black Belly of the Tarantula'' (1971) and ''Plot of Fear'' (1976). Biography During the 1950s, he studied architecture at the University of Florence, after which he produced documentaries for scientific voyages of exploration, and emerged as a pioneer of underwater cinematography (one of these voyages was the important 1951 expedition to Ceylon along with Franco Prosperi documented by local news, that anticipated Folco Quilici’s ''Sixth Continent'' experience). Turi Ferro
Salvatore "Turi" Ferro (10 January 1921 – 10 May 2001) was an Italian film, television and stage actor. He is considered the most important actor in the Sicilian theatre post-World War II era. Life and career Born in Catania, Ferro launched his own theatrical company in 1953 alongside his wife, actress Ida Carrara. He later staged a great number of works by Sicilian authors. He was one of the co-founders of the Teatro Stabile di Catania. His stage credits include works directed by Roberto Rossellini and Giorgio Strehler. Marc Michel Marrier de Lagatinerie (3 January 1949 – 15 August 1983), known professionally as Marc Porel, was a Swiss-born French film actor. He appeared in 40 films between 1967 and 1983. Life Marc Michel Marrier de Lagatinerie was born in Lausanne, Switzerland on 3 January 1949, the son of Jacqueline Porel (1918–2012), an actress and granddaughter of Gabrielle Réjane, and Gérard Landry, an actor. ''La Stampa'' (meaning ''The Press'' in English) is an Italian daily newspaper published in Turin, Italy. It is distributed in Italy and other European nations. The lira (; plural lire) was the currency of Italy between 1861 and 2002. It was first introduced by the Napoleonic Kingdom of Italy in 1807 at par with the French franc, and was subsequently adopted by the different states that would eventually form the Kingdom of Italy in 1861. Carlo Fortunato Pietro Ponti Sr. (11 December 1912 – 9 January 2007) was an Italian film producer with more than 140 productions to his credit. Emma Geraldine Henrietta Hamilton Hooper became Geraldine Dening (30 March 1841 – 12 August 1872) was a British preacher and hymn writer. She was well known in the 1860s and died aged 31.
