Paolo Cavara
Paolo Cavara (4 July 1926 – 7 August 1982) was an Italian screenwriter and film director. He is best known for collaborating with Gualtiero Jacopetti and Franco E. Prosperi on the 1962 mondo film ''Mondo Cane'', and for directing the fiction film ''The Wild Eye'' (1967) and two giallo films, ''Black Belly of the Tarantula'' (1971) and ''Plot of Fear'' (1976). Biography During the 1950s, he studied architecture at the University of Florence, after which he produced documentaries for scientific voyages of exploration, and emerged as a pioneer of underwater cinematography (one of these voyages was the important 1951 expedition to Ceylon along with Franco Prosperi documented by local news, that anticipated Folco Quilici's ''Sixth Continent'' experience). Agostina Belli (born 13 April 1947) is an Italian film actress. She has appeared in more than 50 films since 1968. Life and career Born in Milan as Agostina Maria Magnoni, Belli made her debut in 1968 with a minor part in ''Bandits in Milan'', then appeared in supporting roles in several musicarelli, giallo films and horror of Spanish-Italian co-production. Mario Morra (1935 – October 2024) was an Italian film editor, director and screenwriter. Salvatore "Turi" Ferro (10 January 1921 – 10 May 2001) was an Italian film, television and stage actor. He is considered the most important actor in the Sicilian theatre post-World War II era. Carlo Fortunato Pietro Ponti Sr. (11 December 1912 – 10 January 2007) was an Italian film producer with more than 140 productions to his credit. Emma Geraldine Henrietta Hamilton Hooper became Geraldine Dening (30 March 1841 – 12 August 1872) was a British preacher and hymn writer. She was well known in the 1860s and died aged 31.
