Virginia Waters-Pleasantville includes part of the city of St. John's. The district was created following the 2015 electoral districts boundaries review. Newfoundland and Labrador (; french: Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador; frequently abbreviated as NL) is the easternmost province of Canada, in the country's Atlantic region. The province comprises the island of Newfoundland and the continental region of Labrador, having a total size of 405,212 square kilometres (156,500 sq mi). Signal Hill-Quidi Vidi
Signal Hill-Quidi Vidi is a former provincial electoral district for the House of Assembly of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. As of 2011 there were 8,137 eligible voters living within the district. The district included the east end of the downtown St. John's, and ran north to Newfoundland Drive. The residential mix ranged from apartments and refurbished townhouses in the older part of the city to the edges of suburban subdivisions in the east end. The last MHA was New Democratic Party MHA, Lorraine Michael. This district was also represented by former Newfoundland and Labrador NDP leader, Jack Harris from 1990 to 2006. Virginia Waters (electoral District)
Virginia Waters is a defunct provincial electoral district for the House of Assembly of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. The district was represented by former premier Kathy Dunderdale. A residential district in the northeast end of St. John's, the area included Airport Heights, Wedgewood Park, residential areas off Newfoundland Drive, as well as a fairly wealthy enclave near Virginia Lake. The district was created in 1995 from parts of the districts of Pleasantville, St. John's East Extern and Mount Scio Road-Bell Island. Virginia Waters retained 80 per cent of its original territory in the 2007 redistribution, while taking in 14 per cent of Cape St. Francis. In 2011 there were 9,938 eligible voters living within the district. The district was abolished in 2015, into new districts of Windsor Lake and Virginia Waters-Pleasantville. The Newfoundland and Labrador House of Assembly is the Unicameralism, unicameral deliberative assembly of the General Assembly of Newfoundland and Labrador of the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.
