Vincenzo Guerini (footballer)
Vincenzo Guerini (; born 30 October 1953) is an Italian football manager and former player who played as a midfielder, currently in charge as the technical area chief of Catania. Playing career Club Guerini's playing career started at Brescia, playing as a regular in the Serie B division. In 1973, he was signed by Serie A club Fiorentina, where he emerged as a young but promising attacking midfielder and won the 1975 Coppa Italia thanks to a goal of his in the final against Milan. His career was however cut short in 1976 after suffering a severe car accident that almost left him impaired. International Despite his short playing career, Guerini also had the chance to play as a full international in 1974, when he was lined up by the coaching duo Fulvio Bernardini-Enzo Bearzot for a game against Bulgaria. Sarezzo
Sarezzo (Brescian: ; locally ) is a ''comune'' in the province of Brescia, in Lombardy. It is located in the Trompia valley. Neighbouring communes are Lumezzane, Villa Carcina, Polaveno and Gardone Val Trompia. In 2011 its population was 13,547. The ''comune'' is made of four frazioni (villages): Sarezzo, Zanano, Ponte Zanano, and Noboli, although today these have grown into each other and there is no visible distinction. Fulvio Bernardini (; 28 December 1905 – 13 January 1984) was an Italian football player and coach, who played as a midfielder. He is regarded as one of Italy's greatest ever footballers and managers. Club career During his playing career, Bernardini played for Lazio, Inter, Roma and M.A.T.E.R. at club level. International career At international level, Bernardini was also a member of the Italy national football team that won the bronze medal in the football tournament at the 1928 Summer Olympics. The 2012–13 Serie A (known as the Serie A TIM for sponsorship reasons) was the 111th season of top-tier Italian football, the 81st in a round-robin tournament, and the 3rd since its organization under a league committee separate from Serie B. It began on 25 August 2012 and ended on 19 May 2013. Juventus were the defending champions. The club was founded in 2021 by the City of Novara to replace old Novara Calcio that lost its professional status. History In December 1908 the ''F.A.S. Adem Ljajić ( sr-cyr, Адем Љајић, ; born 29 September 1991) is a Serbian professional footballer who last played as an attacking midfielder for Beşiktaş and the Serbia national team. Ljajić began his career with FK Jošanica, and later Partizan, with whom he made his debut in the Serbian SuperLiga and UEFA Champions League. In January 2010, he was set to join England's Manchester United, but the club withdrew its option to sign him in December 2009. Instead, he joined Fiorentina for a reported fee of around €8 million in January 2010. Delio Rossi (born 26 January 1960) is an Italian football manager and former footballer who played as a midfielder. He was most recently in charge as head coach of Serie B club Ascoli. Playing career Rossi was born in Rimini. His playing career was not a bright one, as he reached his personal top from 1981 to 1983, playing in the Serie B with U.S. Foggia, where he spent most of his footballing time. He retired in 1989, after a season played with Fidelis Andria of Serie C2. The Mitropa Cup, officially called the La Coupe de l'Europe Centrale or Central European Cup, was one of the first international major European football cups for club sides. It was conducted among the successor states of the former Austria-Hungary. After World War II in 1951 a replacement tournament named ''Zentropa Cup'' was held, but just for one season, the Mitropa Cup name was revived, and again in 1958 the name of the tournament changed to ''Danube Cup'' but only for one season.
