Vincent Jones is a Canadian keyboardist and music producer. ''Brighten'' is the third solo album by Alice in Chains guitarist and vocalist Jerry Cantrell. It was released on October 29, 2021, and it is Cantrell's first independent album. The first single, "Atone (song), Atone", was released on July 29, 2021. The second single, "Brighten", was released on September 10, 2021. The third single, "Siren Song", was released on October 21, 2021. ''Brighten'' is Cantrell's first solo album in 19 years, since 2002's ''Degradation Trip Volumes 1 & 2''. Jerry Cantrell
Jerry Fulton Cantrell Jr. (born March 18, 1966) is an American guitarist, singer and songwriter. He is best known as the founder, lead guitarist, co-lead vocalist, and main songwriter of the rock band Alice in Chains. The band rose to international fame in the early 1990s during Seattle's grunge movement, and is known for its distinctive vocal style and the harmonized vocals between Cantrell and Layne Staley (and later Cantrell and William DuVall). Cantrell started to sing lead vocals on Alice in Chains' 1992 EP ''Sap''.
