Vinayakan
Vinayakan T. K. is an Indian actor, playback singer, and composer who predominantly works in the Malayalam film industry. He has also appeared in some Tamil language films. He started his career with a cameo appearance in the 1995 film ''Maanthrikam''. Later, he did a couple of films as supporting roles as well as comedian roles. In 2016, Vinayakan won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actor for his leading role of ''Ganga'' in Rajiv Ravi's ''Kammatipaadam'' and it was well appreciated by the critics. He also composed a song for the film. Career Acting Vinayakan began his career as a dancer and had a dance troupe named ''Black Mercury'' with Fire dance being his forte. Director Thampi Kannanthanam introduced him in ''Maanthrikam'' and later in ''Onnaman''. ''Kammatipaadam'', alternatively spelled as ''Kammatti Paadam'', is a 2016 Indian Malayalam-language action drama film directed by Rajeev Ravi and written by P. Balachandran. The film stars Dulquer Salmaan, Vinayakan, Shaun Romy, Manikandan R. Achari, Vinay Forrt, Shine Tom Chacko, and Suraj Venjaramoodu. The songs were composed by K, John P. Varkey and Vinayakan while the background score was composed by K. The film centers on Kammattippaadam, a slum locality in Kochi, Kerala. CPC Cine Awards
CPC Cine Awards was an annual awards ceremony for films in the Malayalam film industry, which was crowd-sourced and hosted by a Facebook group named Cinema Paradiso Club. History Cinema Paradiso Club, also known as CPC, was formed by a group of cinephiles in the year 2010 in Kerala, India. The first crowd-sourced CPC Cine Awards was announced in 2016 for the films released in 2015 in the malayalam film industry. The winners were decided by a combination of votes from members of a Facebook group and a jury. CPC Cine Awards 2017 had a change in the polling system, that the poll was open to the public. Kerala State Film Award For Best Actor
The Kerala State Film Award for Best Actor is an honour, begun in 1969, presented annually at the Kerala State Film Awards of India to an actor for best performance in a Malayalam film. Until 1997, the awards were managed directly by the Department of Cultural Affairs of the Government of Kerala. Since 1998, the awards have been constituted by the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy, an autonomous, non-profit institution functioning under the Department of Cultural Affairs. The awardees are decided by an independent jury constituted every year. They are announced by the Minister for Cultural Affairs and are presented by the Chief Minister.
