Vileevils
__NOTOC__ Vileevils was an electronic dance duo, formed when the 2005 reunion of Pop Will Eat Itself (PWEI) failed to become a full-time project. Singer Clint Mansell and guitarist Richard March were too busy with side projects to dedicate themselves to writing and performing new material, and so the remaining three members of the band decided to form the spin-off band Vileevils, utilising the ''Sonic Noise Byte'' material that PWEI had written following the reunion. The band toured extensively in the UK, before reorganising as a more minimalist two-piece, after Fuzz left the band in 2007. On 23 February 2010, Vile Evils announced that they had disbanded, and that Graham Crabb would move on to reconstitute Pop Will Eat Itself. Pop Will Eat Itself
Pop Will Eat Itself are an English alternative rock band formed in 1986 in Stourbridge in the West Midlands of England with members from Birmingham, Coventry and the Black Country. Initially known as a grebo act, they changed style to incorporate sample-driven indie and industrial rock. Graham Crabb describes their sound as "electronic, punk, alternative hip-hop, hybrid music for fucking, fighting & smoking cigars". Their highest- charting single was the 1993 top-ten hit "Get the Girl! Kill the Baddies!". After initially disbanding in 1996, and having a brief reformation in 2005, they issued their first release in more than five years in 2010. Graham Crabb (born Graham Charles Crabb, 10 October 1964, Streetly, Warwickshire, England), also known as Crabbi, is an English musician, best known for performing in the industrial/dance rock band Pop Will Eat Itself (PWEI). Biography Crabb is a founder member of Pop Will Eat Itself. He, and (Clint Mansell) were the main songwriters. Drummer until the release of ''Box Frenzy'' in 1987, after which he became vocalist and co-frontman with Mansell. He worked with PWEI until 1995, and then formed Golden Claw Musics. Golden Claw Musics Golden Claw Musics was the main musical project of Crabb after he left Pop Will Eat Itself in 1995. In 1993, he remixed Pop Will Eat Itself's "Get the Girl, Kill the Baddies" as a B-side called "Part Man Part Machine", prompting him to release more of his ambient material. Robert "Fuzz" Townshend
John Richard Keith "Fuzz" Townshend (born 31 July 1964) is a British drummer, TV presenter of National Geographic Channel's ''Car SOS'' (also shown on Channel 4/More4), motoring journalist for ''Classic Car Weekly'', former technical editor of ''Practical Classics'', and mechanic. He is also honorary president of the Triumph Sports Six Club. He also had a solo music career from 1996 to 2002. Clint Mansell
Clinton Darryl Mansell (; born 7 January 1963) is an English musician, singer, and composer, born in Coventry. He served as the lead singer and multi-instrumentalist of alt-rock band Pop Will Eat Itself before embarking on a career as a film score composer. Mansell moved to the United States after the dissolution of the group and started working with filmmaker Darren Aronofsky. He has subsequently become an award-winning, Golden Globe and Grammy-nominated film composer, collaborating extensively with Aronofsky and writing scores for dozens of other films (both shorts and features), TV series, and video games. Mansell resides in Los Angeles, composing and occasionally touring live versions of his work. A pioneer of sampling in his own work, Mansell's work is now a favourite with sampling musicians. 3kStatic is an electronica music group founded in 1998, consisting of Dean Capone, Jeremy Dickens, Justin Katz. History In 2004 they release the album ''Perversion: for Profit''; uses audio sampled from the 1965 propaganda film Perversion for Profit. The group's work was featured on the soundtrack of the new season of MTV's Real World. Colin Edward Michael Blunstone (born 24 June 1945) is an English singer, songwriter and musician. In a career spanning more than 60 years, Blunstone came to prominence in the mid-1960s as the lead singer of the English rock band the Zombies, which released four singles that entered the Top 75 charts in the United States during the 1960s, including "She's Not There", "Tell Her No", " She's Coming Home", and "Time of the Season". Blunstone began his solo career in 1969, releasing three singles under a pseudonym of Neil MacArthur. Since then, he has released ten studio albums under his real name. The Zombies
The Zombies are an English rock band formed in the early 1960s in St Albans and led by keyboardist and vocalist Rod Argent and vocalist Colin Blunstone. The group had a British and American hit in 1964 with "She's Not There". In the US, two further singles—"Tell Her No" in 1965 and "Time of the Season" in 1968—were also successful. KMFDM
KMFDM (originally Kein Mehrheit Für Die Mitleid, loosely translated by the band as "no pity for the majority") is a multinational industrial band from Hamburg led by Sascha Konietzko, who founded the band in 1984 as a performance art project. The band's earliest incarnation included German drummer En Esch and British vocalist Raymond Watts, the latter of whom left and rejoined the group several times over its history. The trio recorded the band's earliest albums in Germany before Konietzko and Esch moved to the United States, where they found much greater success with seminal industrial record label Wax Trax!. German guitarist Günter Schulz joined in 1990; both he and Esch continued with the band until KMFDM broke up in 1999.
