Vijetha (film)
Vijetha () is a 1985 Indian Telugu-language film directed by A. Kodandarami Reddy and produced by Allu Aravind starring Chiranjeevi, Bhanupriya, and J. V. Somayajulu. The film released on 23 October 1985. The film was a remake of the 1981 Bengali film ''Saheb'' which was earlier remade in Hindi as '' Saaheb'' (1985) with Anil Kapoor. The film was dubbed in Tamil as ''Dharma Prabhu''. Chiranjeevi won his second Filmfare Best Actor Award for his performance in the film. This Marks the Debut of Icon Star Allu Arjun in Telugu Cinema Plot Madhusudhana Rao, aka Chinnababu ( Chiranjeevi) is a wannabe football player, who would like to represent his country. ''Saaheb'' () is a 1985 Indian Hindi-language drama film directed by Anil Ganguly. It is a remake of the 1981 Bengali film ''Saheb'' directed by Bijoy Bose. The film stars Anil Kapoor, Amrita Singh, Raakhee, Deven Verma, Utpal Dutt, Biswajit, Vijay Arora, A. K. Hangal and Dilip Dhawan. The music was composed by Bappi Lahiri. The plot follows Saaheb, the youngest son of a family, who is focused on football. Due to this, everyone in the family constantly tells him he is no good. However, when circumstances demand, he gives up his kidney to fund his sister's marriage, at the cost of his football career. The movie has catchy songs like - "Yaar Bina Chain Kahan Re" and "Kya Khabar Kya Pata" - which remain popular to this day. Tirumala Sundara Sri Ranganath (17 July 1949 – 19 December 2015) was an Indian actor known for his works primarily in Telugu cinema, Telugu Theater, television, and a few Tamil films. In a film career spanning more than forty years, Ranganath starred in more than three hundred feature films in a variety of roles. He made his debut with the 1969 Telugu film ''Budhimantudu''. Kaikala Satyanarayana (25 July 1935 – 23 December 2022) was an Indian actor, producer, director, and politician who predominantly worked in Telugu cinema.
