Vijayaraghavan
Vijayaraghavan (born 20 December 1951) is an Indian actor who predominantly works in Malayalam cinema. He is popular for his character roles. He is the son of popular drama and cinema artist N. N. Pillai. He got his break by playing the iconic character ''Ramji Rao'' in 1989 film Ramji Rao Speaking. This character later got the cult status in Malayalam Cinema. Early life and family Vijayaraghavan is the son of veteran actor N. N. Pillai and Chinnamma. He was born in Kuala Lumpur on 20 December 1951, the capital of the Federation of Malaya, where his father worked as an Estate Manager. He has two sisters Sulochana and Renuka. He had his primary education from Govt. High School, Kudamaloor. Acting career Vijayaraghavan made his film debut with ''Kaapaalika'', which was based on his father's play of the same name. ''Mannar Mathai Speaking 2'' is a 2014 Indian Malayalam-language comedy thriller film directed by Mamas K. Chandran. It is a sequel to the 1995 comedy ''Mannar Mathai Speaking'' and the third installment in the celebrated Ramji Rao franchise. ''New Delhi'' is a 1987 Malayalam language neo-noir action thriller film written by Dennis Joseph and directed by Joshiy and produced by Joy Thomas. It stars Mammootty, Suresh Gopi, Thiagarajan, Sumalatha, Urvashi, Siddique, Vijayaraghavan, Mohan Jose, Devan, and Jagannatha Varma.
