Viimsi Stadium
Viimsi staadion was a football and rugby stadium in Haabneeme, Viimsi Parish, Estonia, just outside the capital Tallinn with the capacity of 2,000. The stadium was formerly used by a now-defunct Lantana Tallinn football club. The pitch size was 105 by 70 metres. As of 2007 the stadium was home to the Tallinn Rugby Football Club and the temporary home of the Estonian National Rugby Union team via cooperation between the Estonian Rugby Union and Nord West Kinnisvara OÜ. Haabneeme
Haabneeme is a small borough ( et, alevik) in Viimsi Parish, Harju County, in northern Estonia alongside Viimsi. It's located about northeast of the centre of Tallinn, on the eastern coast of Tallinn Bay. With a population of 5,634 ( 2011 Census), Haabneeme is the largest settlement in the municipality. Haabneeme was first mentioned in 1271 as ''Apones''. During the Middle Ages Haabneeme was settled by Coastal Swedes. In the 1960s, Haabneeme garden city developed on both sides of the Rohuneeme road in the north. The central settlement was built from the 1960s to 1980s as the centre of the Kirov Fishing Kolkhoz (named after Sergey Kirov). In 1973 a new administrative building was opened. The shopping centre was built in 1976, hospital-polyclinic in 1979. As an addition to apartment buildings, a pension was opened in 1974, stadium in 1978, kindergarten in 1983 and a high school in 1981–1985. The Estonian Rugby Union ( et, Eesti Ragbi Liit) is the governing body of rugby union in Estonia and was formed in 2007 in response to FIRA – Association of European Rugby, FIRA-AER expulsion of the Estonian Rugby Federation. Tallinn () is the most populous and capital city of Estonia.
