Victoria Seaman
Victoria Seaman is a Republican former member of the Nevada Assembly, representing District 34 in Clark County. She served in the 78th session, from 2014–2016. Seaman was the first Republican Latina elected to the Nevada Assembly. Background and education Seaman was born in Santa Maria, California. She has an Associate degree in Political Science from the College of Southern Nevada. She also studied at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She is an entrepreneur who created and managed day spas, and designed and manufactured a high-end product line for estheticians. She sold those businesses in 2004 and 2009. She worked as a realtor and a licensed esthetician. Nicole Jeanette Cannizzaro (born January 19, 1983) is an American Democratic politician currently serving in the Nevada Senate. She represents the 6th district, which covers parts of Las Vegas. Biography Cannizzaro was born in Las Vegas. She received a bachelor's degree in business administration and management from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2006, and a Juris Doctor from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2010. Following graduation, she worked as a legal clerk and then began practicing law in Las Vegas. After working in private practice, in 2011, she joined the Clark County District Attorney's Office. She is now a Chief Deputy District Attorney at the Clark County District Attorney's Office. Erven T. Nelson (born 1956) is an American lawyer and politician. He served as a Republican member of the Nevada Assembly from 2014 to 2016. Early life Erven T. Nelson was born in 1956 in Washington, D.C. Nelson was educated at Clark High School in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Nevada Senate is the upper house of the Nevada Legislature, the state legislature of U.S. state of Nevada, the lower house being the Nevada Assembly. It currently (2012–2021) consists of 21 members from single-member districts. In the previous redistricting (2002–2011) there were 19 districts, two of which were multimember. Since 2012, there have been 21 districts, each formed by combining two neighboring state assembly districts. Each State Senator represented approximately 128,598 as of the 2010 United States Census. Article Four of the Constitution of Nevada sets that State Senators serve staggered four-year terms.
