Victor King
Victor Bernard King (born July 16, 1957) is an American former professional basketball player. He played collegiately for the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs, where he was a four-year starter and two-time All-Southland Conference selection during his final two seasons. He was selected by the Los Angeles Lakers as the 39th overall pick in the 1979 NBA draft but never played in the National Basketball Association (NBA). King played for the Maine Lumberjacks of the Continental Basketball Association (CBA) during the 1980–81 season. He played alongside fellow 1979 draftee Andrew Fields for the Toyota Super Diesels of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) during the 1981 season, winning the Open Conference championship. King also played in Europe. Two of King's sons, Bernard King and Kourtney Roberson, are professional basketball players. Newellton, Louisiana
Newellton is a town in northern Tensas Parish in the northeastern part of the U.S. state of Louisiana. The population is 1,187 in the 2010 census, a decline of 255 persons, or 17 percent, from the 2000 tabulation of 1,482. The average age of the population there is 41 years. Newellton is west of the Mississippi River on Lake St. Joseph, an ox-bow lake. Further south toward St. Joseph, the parish seat of government, is another ox-bow lake, Lake Bruin, a part of which is the popular Lake Bruin State Park. Bernard King (basketball, Born 1981)
Victor Bernard King Jr. (born July 24, 1981) is an American professional basketball player for UJAP Quimper 29 of the LNB Pro B. He played college basketball for Texas A&M University. King holds numerous Big 12 Conference and Texas A&M records. King left A&M as the top scorer in Big 12 conference history, as well as third in the league for all-time career assists. He led the Aggies in scoring and assists in all four of his seasons, and ranks among Texas A&M's all-time leaders in points (first), three-point field goals made (first), and assists (second).
