Vicente Madrigal National High School
Vicente Madrigal National High School is a public high school in Binangonan, Rizal, Philippines. It was established in 1992 as Vicente Madrigal Municipal High School, but in the virtue of the Republic Act No. 8010 it was converted to a National High School on May 25, 1995. It was named after the late Senator Vicente Madrigal. On 2012, the school has 2,800+ registered students. Absalon C. Fernandez is the Secondary School Principal II. Facilities The VMNHS has 9 two-storey buildings and 2 single-storey building. It includes a library, an Audio-Visual Room (AVR), Science Laboratory, School Clinic, Garments Laboratory, Home Economics Room and a School Cooperative. The school also includes a covered court, a gymnasium and two school canteens. Binangonan
Binangonan, officially the Municipality of Binangonan ( tgl, Bayan ng Binangonan) is a 1st class municipality in the province of Rizal, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 313,631 people. A thriving fish port and fishing industry is found in Binangonan, having a long coast line facing the Laguna de Bay, including the western part of Talim Island. The plant of Rizal Cement and Grandspan are in Binangonan as well. Their main livelihood are fishing and farming. With the continuous expansion of Metro Manila, the municipality is now part of Manila's conurbation which reaches Cardona in its easternmost part. Etymology It is claimed that the ''binañgonan'' means “the first town established along the lake”, in reference to a legend that tells of how the towns around Laguna de Baý were named. Vicente María Epifanio López Madrigal (born Vicente María Epifanio Madrigal y López; April 5, 1880 – June 6, 1972) was a successful Spanish Filipino business tycoon, industrialist and politician. Guronasyon Foundation National High School
Guronasyon Foundation Inc. National High School is a public high school situated at Bilibiran, Binangonan, Rizal. History GFINHS was established in 2007 aiming to diminish the increasing enrollment at its mother school, Vicente Madrigal National High School. It was named after the foundation of Congressman Michael John Duavit who donated the land where GFINHS is constructed. It started its operation on June 4, 2007. On June 15, 2007, the school was officially separated from its mother school.
