Viaros Kapodistrias ( el, Βιάρος Καποδίστριας, 1774–1842) was a Greek politician, lawyer and member of the Filiki Eteria, a secret organization whose purpose was to overthrow the Ottoman rule of Greece and establish an independent Greek state. He was brother of Governors of Greece Ioannis Kapodistrias and Augustinos Kapodistrias. Biography Viaros Kapodistrias was born in 1774 in Corfu and was the eldest son of the diplomat Count Antonios Maria Kapodistrias and Diamantina, daughter of Christodoulos Gonemis. Sporades
